Stepping Up To The Plate
One of my pet peeves is someone saying "that is not my job!"
I certainly haven't been hearing that around the Nevada Daily Mail for a while now. I was amazed at how many within the organization have expended themselves over the last six months or so. It seems we have made big advancements.
Case in point, most everyone that has set foot in the front office has noticed a more appealing look since remodeling has been done to the front office.
But I assume most do not know that the remodeling is spreading to other departments.
What I have been seeing is many within the company lending a helping hand. I find it amazing since it used to be that they looked to the production crew to do the manual labor.
I see a lot more teamwork now. Much kudos to Tabatha Goodwin, Amber Palmer and son Brenton, and Kandette Jones for stepping up to the plate to paint our Composition and Special Projects departments. It is also refreshing to see that others helped in the preparation for that time-consuming event. Thanks to Josh Lawrence, Joshua White and Joe Carter for doing the heavy moving.
I know that everyone is busy and this is the busiest time of the year for us, but this teamwork has strengthened us as a group.
