It's different; yep it's different alright!

Well, it's not a secret anymore; my hours of work have changed. There are many pros and yep, you guessed it, cons also.

What I like is that it consolidates all the printing to one shift, which for a salary person, is a plus. It has been a challenge the past three years in getting everything done. As many are aware, and I know I am not alone, if you are a manager of some sorts, you have a lot of paperwork to be done.

It is also a learning experience, joggling with the new hours and the tasks that have to be done. Even though the hours are different, the same things have to be done.

However, the new schedule is allowing me to do something that I have always wanted to do. It has been awhile since I enjoyed volunteering for my faith's work and now I am volunteering in it more than I have been in quite awhile. There is nothing more refreshing than doing something to make my Creator happy. The sense of accomplishment and joy of giving of oneself has had a positive effect on me, and it's only the first week of the month. I look forward to the rest of the month. My spiritually has been strengthened, which gives me strength to cope with life's problems.

We hear the word "change" and sometimes that is a good thing. I think of this change as a positive one. I know this is the best change that will benefit our customers and it is a special blessing that benefits me!
