100 Years Ago -- November 19, 1903 The County Court has decided to have a new shingle roof put on the old Courthouse. The tarpaper roof and the old shingles will be torn off and new shingles put on. The Court is going to have the work done by the day instead of letting the contract. First- grade shingles will be used and they will be properly nailed. A new structure is badly needed and it is the general opinion that a new courthouse will be built within the near future...
