Anton "Tony" Gobl, 75, Fort Scott, Kan., died at his home Saturday, March 20, 2004. Anton was born Oct. 23, 1928, in Arma, Kan., the son of Anton Gobl and Anna Hober Gobl. He married Joyce Wray on July 15, 1967, in Uniontown, Kan. Anton was a retired mechanic for Fort Scott Farm Inc. and also ran his own farm and livestock operation. Richard Leroy "Harp" Carter, 55, died March 15, 2004. Services were held on March 21, at 2 p.m., at Evergreen Memorial Chapel with Pastor Kelly Kiger officiating. Taped music selections were "Truckdrivin' man," "Truckers Prayer," "I Can Only Imagine" and "Amazing Grace." She married Oliver Andrew Moburg on April 3, 1939, in Wickenburg, Ariz., and he preceded her in death on July 12, 1989...
