The Nevada High School baseball team will face the McDonald County Mustangs for the third time this year at 4:00 p.m. Monday in the opening game of the District 12 baseball tournament at the Carl Lewton Stadium in Carthage. Nevada head coach Tyson Beshore is hoping for a different outcome than the losses the Tigers had in their previous meetings this season when the Mustangs beat the Tigers 18-6 and 6-1...

In spite of unfavorable weather conditions during much of the three-week spring turkey season, Missouri hunters set a record by toppping last season's record by 1,730 birds. In the Youth Weekend Hunt, 3,269 birds were checked and in the recent three week regular season hunters checked 56,882 bearded birds making the spring total 60,151 birds...

I don't know if you thought about it, but on May 1 my opinion of Kansas City's coaching and managerial staff took a definite stride in reverse.
