100 years ago Fatal shooting in Horton A shooting affray occurred at Horton on Thursday night which may result in the death of photographer Whipple of this city and the arrest of Harlow Humble who is charges with shooting Mr. Whipple. The wounded man's condition is extremely critical as the bullet from Humble's revolver entered Whipple's abdomen just a little ways to the right of the naval and buried itself probably in his back. ...
