Eagles raise funds for children's

The Fraternal Order of Eagles of Nevada held its 25th annual Children's Mercy fund-raiser on Saturday. There were many activities through which the group sought donations, including a live auction, silent auction, pool tournament, pony rides, face painting, golf cart races, moon walk and children's karaoke contests. Last year, a similar event raised more than $11,000 and with much support this year as well, the Eagles have raised more than $14,000 so far...

Cottey, Peace college announce new articulation agreement

Nevada Daily Mail Officials at Cottey College in Nevada, and Peace College in Raleigh, N.C., announced Tuesday that the two women's colleges have signed an articulation agreement.
