Donald Leroy Swarens, age 82, of Hume, Mo., died Sunday, Oct. 7, 2007, at Nevada Regional Medical Center in Nevada. He was born April 29, 1925, to George Lewis and Nellie Eveline Garrison Swarens, in Ovid, Mo. The Rich Hill Tigers steamrolled their way to another win Friday night over Drexel. In a one-sided contest, the Tigers shut out Drexel through 3 quarters, on their way to a 40-6 win. The game's overall performance statistics were almost as staggering as the final score would indicate, with Rich Hill completing 73 percent of its passes for 146 yards, while Drexel completed 23 percent for 71 yards with 3 interceptions. ...
