The Nevada boys and girls varsity basketball teams both fell hard to the Webb City Cardinals. The girls started off well, but were 2 for 5 from beyond the arc in the first period to Webb City's 1 for 3, allowing the Lady Tigers to come out with a 12-7 lead into the second. The Cottey College Comets rolled their way to a dominant win over Florissant Valley Monday night. Led by Brittany Smith with 28 points and Liz Wagoner with 15 rebounds, the Comets dashed Florissant Valley 85-48. The Comets put down 7 treys as a team, but only made 2 of 6 free throws in the game...
