Crowder offers school district its day care program

During a regular meeting Wednesday night, Dr. David Stephens told the Nevada R-5 board of education that Crowder College is offering any school district that wishes to take over its day care program, which teaches students how to work with children from birth to kindergarten, the opportunity to do so. The college was offering a mobile classroom and the curriculum to run the program. Stephens recommended the board turn the offer down, at least for the time being...

Work under way on new field house
