The Cottey College Comets went out with high expectations of going 2-0 against the Fort Scott, Kan., Community College Greyhounds and fulfilled their goal. The Nevada Lady Tigers golf team participated in the Girard Invitational Tuesday morning. The Lady Tigers placed third out of the 11 teams that were present for the tournament, but the event could not be fully completed due to rain.
