The Cottey College Comets came into Thursday poised to make a comeback from a disappointing weekend on the road, but the weather had other plans. The Comets had high hopes of being able to bounce back from a sweep at East Central on March 20, followed by a split at Mineral Area College the following day, but Thursday's scheduled doubleheader against the Lady Pioneers of North Arkansas College was forced to be postponed due to forecasted wet weather.
