Arkansas resident injured in Thursday crash

A motor vehicle accident occurred on U.S. 71 Highway south of Route D Thursday afternoon involving a 2004 Chevrolet driven by Jean Wright, 61, Fort Smith, Ark. According to the Missouri Highway Patrol, Wright was driving northbound at about 2:15 p.m., when her vehicle ran off the west side of the road and crossed the median and southbound lanes, coming to rest on Route D.
