Nevada Daily Mail The Nevada Red Sox AA team split a pair with the Joplin Miners Saturday at Lyons Stadium. Nevada won the first contest 12-11, for the district win. Brady Denney pitched 6 2-3 innings for the win and Cole Sanderson earned the save. In the second game, Nevada used a variety of pitchers to get some work before this week's district tourney. Easton Mitchell started, followed by Lane Ketterman, Zach Vignolo, John Klingaman and Nick Connors...

Nevada Daily Mail The AAA Nevada Red Sox swept a doubleheader Friday night at Harrisonville, Mo., by the scores of 12-1 and 14-2. Ron Johnson was the winning pitcher in the night's first game, allowing just three hits and striking out seven in 5 2-3 innings of work and Austin Baldwin closed out the game.
