Mary Etta Vandenburg, 93, of Ash Grove, Mo., passed away Aug. 4, 2011, in the Ash Grove Healthcare Facility. She was born March 1, 1918, in Walker, Vernon County, Mo., to Burt Nelson and Freddie Klumpp Leer. Mary was married to Herman Joseph Vandenburg on May 25, 1940.
