Timothy Aaron Forst, 24, of Carl Junction, passed away Sunday, Aug. 28, 2011, due to an accident near Lamar. Tim was born March 22, 1987, in Lamar, Mo., the sixth of the six children of Leonard and Diana (Andersen) Forst. He graduated from Lamar High School in 2005 and earned certification as a diesel mechanic at Wyoming Tech in Laramie in 2006. ...

A man struck by a Burlington-Northern train at about 2:40 a.m., Aug. 28, at the crossing on southeast 30th Road just east of southeast 30th Lane in Barton County has been identified as 24-year-old Timothy A. Forst of Carl Junction. According to a press release from the Barton County Sheriff's Office, emergency crews who responded to the 911 call found Forst already deceased...
