On Tuesday evening, the Joplin South Middle School seventh grade football team played the Nevada Tigers at Logan Field in Nevada. Number 32 for the visitors was a young man named Spencer Nicodemus. Forty-two years ago Spencer's grandfather, the late Bob Nicodemus (a member of the NHS Sports Hall of Fame), played one of the great games in Nevada Tiger history on this same field.
