Novelist to conduct book signing at museum on Nov. 2

The Bushwhacker Museum has announced a special book-signing for a new Civil War novel by author Jeremy Rusk starting at 7 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 2, at the museum, 212 W. Woman injured in weekend crash

A 26-year-old woman was hurt this weekend in a one-vehicle crash. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash occurred at 1:41 a.m., Sunday, Oct. 23, when a 2008 Pontiac G6 driven by Whitney D. Worsley of Bronaugh, Mo., ran off the roadway and overturned while heading south on Route BB, seven miles south of Nevada. ...

Police investigate Monday crash

The Nevada Police Department, Vernon County Ambulance District and Missouri State Highway Patrol responded to a one vehicle crash in the southbound lane of U.S. 71 Highway just south of the Highland Ave. exit at about 2:45 p.m on Monday.
