Everett Periman, 94, Nevada, Mo., passed away Tuesday, Dec. 6, 2011, at Northcare Hospice House in North Kansas City, Mo. He was born Jan. 11, 1917, in Milo, Mo., the son of Elbert Periman and Vivion Florence Barton Periman. Everett was married to Marie Louise Stock (Miles) of Fergus Fall, Minn., on June 6, 1946, in Paris, France, and she preceded him in death in 1980. He then married Bertha Lower Roberts, Nov. 30, 1985, at the Whiteman Air Force Base Chapel and she survives of the home...

The Community Choir's presentation of Handel's "Messiah" at the Fox Theater Friday and Saturday at 8 p.m. and Sunday afternoon at 2 will be an experience that will make you very proud of our community.
