All-Comers meet postponed

Due to the amount of rain the area received, the condition of the track and the forecast, Nevada's All-Comers track meet has been postponed until Wednesday, May 9. The meet will begin at the same time on that day. Registration will begin at 4 p.m.

NHS baseball will play at Seneca on Friday

The Nevada High School baseball team will finish its suspended game with Seneca on Friday at 4:30 p.m. in Seneca. The game was stopped going into the top of the fifth inning with Nevada up 3-2 on April 13 due to the weather. Nevada police seeking information in attempted assault

The Nevada Police Department received a report of an assault that occurred near the intersection of Austin Boulevard and Clay Street in Nevada at about 11 a.m. on April 26. A 17-year-old female Nevada resident was approached by a passing car with one man in it who offered the girl a ride, which she refused.
