One Nevada Lady Tiger and two Nevada Tigers have qualified for this weekend's MSHSAA Class 3 State Track and Field Championships, in Jefferson City. Griffons season starts Thursday

The Nevada Griffons baseball team is scheduled to kick off the 2014 season Thursday, with a home game against the Midwest Nationals, at Lyons Stadium. Head coach Ryan Mansfield's squad hopes to start another run to the National Baseball Congress World Series with Thursday's non-league contest, which will start at 7 p.m. The first league game for the Griffons is scheduled for Saturday, when Mansfield's squad takes to the road for the first time to take on the St. Joseph Mustangs...
