The Nevada Neptunes won their swim meet, rolling up 873.500 points to take first in the multi-team meet that drew hundreds of swimmers and their families to the Walton aquatic park. Taking second was the Siloam Springs Flyers at 706.500, with the Joplin Stingrays third at 597.500, in fourth the Lamar Tigersharks at 503.500, with Monett's Water Thrashers in fifth at 298.000, the Branson Waves next at 178.000, the Carthage aquatic team at 150.000, Parsons Dolphins at 113.000, the Pittsburg YMCA swim team at 78.000, the Missouri State aquatic team at 68.000, the Webb City Cardinals at 36.000, and the Lebanon Yellowjackets at 11.000.. ...

Neptunes perform well at swim meet in Lamar

Nevada's swimmers took part in the Lamar/Nevada Dual Swim Meet Wednesday, at the Lamar Aquatic Park. The meet was a warmup to the various championships coming up. Hosted by the Lamar TigerSharks, the meet started at 6 p.m. and finished around 9. Nevada sent 54 athletes, with 159 entries, including 18 relays...
