Rose Marlene Greer, 79, of Milo, Mo., passed from this life Tuesday, May 19, 2015, at the Moore-Few Care Center, in Nevada. She was born Sept. 13, 1935, the daughter of Vaughn Eldred and Lyda Mildred (Baker) Attebery, in Butler. On Dec. 21, 1956, she was united in marriage to and became the loving wife of Willard Dean Greer for more than 58 years and he survives of the home...

Stangeland, the 51-year-old Nevada man who kidnapped Muller from the parking lot of his pet supply shop in January 2010, was convicted of conspiracy to commit murder, first degree kidnapping, robbery, attempted extortion and possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, among others charges.. ...

The fifth-seeded Nevada Tigers fell to top-seeded Monett 8-2 at Tuesday's Class 4 District 12 baseball tournament in Seneca, ending their season. With the loss, Nevada finishes the season 9-18 overall, and 5-7 in the West Central Conference.
