Glenda Jackson Olson, 69, longtime resident and housewife of San Angelo, entered into immortality on Monday, April 11, 1947 after a lengthly illness. She was born Tuesday, Feb. 11, 1947, in Nevada, Mo. Glenda married Dr. Leonard Olson in October of 1970 in San Angelo. She was of Methodist faith. Glenda enjoyed spending time relaxing, traveling and tending to her flower garden. Glenda's giving nature and welcoming spirit will be missed by all who knew and loved her...

Out to the movies

My children and I had gone to the theater to see "Batman vs. Superman" which is a very long movie. Recently remodeled, the theater had installed new seats, which were greatly appreciated! Unfortunately, remodeling left some problems that have always been my pet peeves anyway. First, there are no bright ceiling lights on at any time; so finding a seat, or even finding the steps to climb when going in or coming out of the movie is difficult. I hope they correct this...
