Al Melton, 77, of Webb City, Mo., passed away on Monday, April 25, 2016, in Oklahoma. He was born on Dec. 13, 1938, in Nevada, Mo., to Don Melton and Margaret (Widman) Melton. After graduation from Walker High School he joined the United States Navy in 1956 and took boot in San Diego, Calif. The Bronaugh Lady Wildcats fell 8-7 to Miami Monday in Miami. According to Broanugh softball coach Daryl Dodson, two errors in the bottom of the second inning led to four Miami runs.
