Hume throttles Miami in season opener

The Hume Lady Hornets had a dominant opening to their 2017-18 hoops campaign, steamrolling the Miami Eagles 43-15, Tuesday night at home. Hume (1-0, 1-0 GVVC) came out on fire, opening the Golden Valley Vernon County Conference match-up on a 15-0 blitz. Hume then led 22-6 at halftime. The Lady Hornet lead then swelled to 25, after outscoring Miami 11-2 in the third quarter. Hume then outscored the visitors 10-7 in the fourth quarter, for the final 28-point margin...
