Lady Tiger medley and free relay teams earn trip to Class 1 swim championships

For a second consecutive season, the Nevada Lady Tigers swim team has qualified for the Missouri state swim and dive championships. In their first competition of the season, Nevada High School’s powerlifting team flexed its muscle at the Fair Grove powerlifting meet on Feb. 3. Guided by head coach Wes Beachler, NHS senior Sammy Gundy placed first overall in her class, after a spectacular showing in the bench press, deadlift and squat.
