The Nevada High School swim team recently celebrated its most successful season in program history via its postseason awards banquet. Wreath-laying ceremony held at Fort Scott National Cemetery

A large crowd gathered Saturday morning to help place wreaths on headstones at the Fort Scott National Cemetery during the annual National Wreaths Across America ceremony. Enough funds were raised to purchase more than 6,000 wreaths for the event. Veterans of each branch of the military were remembered and honored through the placing of wreaths.
