The Nevada High School junior varsity football team on Monday picked up where the varsity squad left off last week, beating Logan-Rogersville by two touchdowns for a season-opening 34-20 victory on the road. “We are very proud of the attitude and effort that our kids played with tonight,” stated NHS JV head coach Jerrod Alexander, whose team was able to hold on for the win after scoring on the opening drive and exchanging touchdowns with the Wildcats throughout the contest. ...
