Seventh-grade girls trip Joplin North

The Nevada Middle School seventh-grade girls basketball teams swept Joplin North on Monday.

The "A" team, led by Heidi Wilson's 14 points, jumped to a 24-3 halftime lead then cruised to a 39-18 win.

The "A" team remained undefeated at 5-0.

The "B" squad (2-3) walloped North 52-5.

Anna McCay was the leading scorer with 14 points.
