Cecil D. Smith

Cecil D. Smith, 88, died Dec. 8, 2003. Services were held at the United Methodist Church in Nevada, on Dec. 11, at 10 a.m., with Pastor Ralph Clark officiating. Musical selections "Lord I Life Your Name on High" and "Great is the Lord" were performed by the United Methodist Praise Band. David Killmer presented a solo, and Karen Hertzberg played the organ. Pallbearers were David Swearingen, Paul Hirschman, Dave Adams, Dean Lewis, Chris Barrett and Tim Wells. Honorary pallbearers were Bill Bales, Louis Crowe, H.A. Kelso, Byron Hallam, Jim Rinehart and Franklin Norman. Interment was in Moore Cemetery. Arrangements by Ferry Funeral Home.
