Lucile Bernice Jadlot
Lucile Bernice Jadlot, 85, Nevada, Mo., died Saturday, Jan. 17, 2004, at Christian Health Care in Nevada following a brief illness. She was born Nov. 32, 1918, in Metz, Mo., to Jess Arch Willsey and Minnie Mae Yeates Willsey. She was married March 1, 1938, in Butler, Mo., to Jerry Jadlot. He preceded her in death Feb. 9, 1994.
Mrs. Jadlot was born and raised in Vernon County, Mo., and spent virtually her entire life here. She graduated from Metz High School in Metz, Mo. She worked for 30 years for the State of Missouri as a caseworker, retiring in 1989. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Nevada, Mo.
Survivors include five sons, Terry Jadlot, Fort Worth, Texas, Denny Jadlot, Council Bluff, Iowa, Charles Jadlot, Simpsonville, S.C., Steve Jadlot, St. Louis, Mo., and Randy Jadlot, Mesa, Ariz.; one daughter, Barbara Renwick, Nevada, Mo.; 13 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; two sisters, Norma Kenton, Shawnee Mission, Kan., and Evelyn Dole, Nevada, Mo.
She was preceded in death by one grandson, Bill Renwick and one daughter-in-law, Nancy Quarton Jadlot, her parents, six brothers and two sisters.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 20, at the First Baptist Church in Nevada with Dr. William Cox officiating. Soloist was Wes Morton. Musical selections were "Ave Maria" and "The Lord's Prayer." Organist was Debbie Fast. Pallbearers were Terry Jadlot, Denny Jadlot, Steve Jadlot, Randy Jadlot, Charles Jadlot and Butch Renwick. Interment followed in Newton Burial Park, Nevada, Mo.
