Frank DeBoutez
Frank DeBoutez, 70, Nevada, died Jan. 27, 2004, at Nevada Regional Medical Center. He was born on March 21, 1933, in Bressy Hill, Kan., to Floris and Pauline Dorgan DeBoutez. In May 1954 he married Charlene Fedell in Franklin, Kan.
Mr. DeBoutez was employed at the Nevada State Hospital from 1968 until his retirement in 1993. He was first employed at the hospital as a teacher and then was employed in it's personnel office until his retirement. After retirement, he was currently serving as director of the Neighbors Center. He was a former member of the Nevada Lions Club. Mr. DeBoutez was a veteran of the United States Navy and had served in the Army National Guard.
He is survived by his wife, Charlene, of the home; three sons, Craig, Randy and Keith, all of Nevada; two daughters, Pam DeBoutez, Nevada, and Gina DeBoutez, San Francisco, Calif.; and 10 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one sister, Mary Ann Goodman and his parents.
Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, Jan. 30, at 2 p.m., at St. Mary's Catholic Church. Graveside services will be Monday, Feb. 2, at 1:30 p.m., at the National Cemetery in Fort Scott, Kan. Father Anthony Pileggi will be the Celebrant.
Recitation of the Rosary will be Thursday, Jan. 29, at 6:30 p.m., at Evergreen Memorial Chapel with visitation to follow. Memorials are suggested to the Neighbors Center.
