Carl Clifton "Cliff" Wagner
Carl Clifton "Cliff" Wagner, 47, of Hollister, Mo., died at 11:25 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 3, 2004, at Skaggs Community Health Center in Branson, Mo., from a one-car accident. He was born in Seward, Alaska, on Nov. 15, 1956, the son of Jack and Jaunita Wagner who preceded him in death.
He was employed by Presley's Music Show in Branson from 1990 as the Master of Ceremonies. He was of the Baptist faith. He received his bachelor of science degree in music at Central Methodist College in Fayette, Mo. He had been an area resident since 1979.
He is survived by two brothers, Max Wagner, Nevada, Mo., and Tony Wagner, Springfield, Mo.; a sister, Tina Overton, Nevada, Mo.; his step-father, Bob Cox, Jr., Nevada, Mo., and several nieces.
Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m., Friday, Feb. 6, 2004, at the Tri-Lakes Cathedral in Branson with Dr. Paul Collins officiating. A second service will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday. Feb. 7, at the Pine Street Baptist Church in Nevada, Mo., with the Rev. Jay Borders officiating. Burial will be in the Fairview Cemetery in Rich Hill, Mo., under the direction of Greenlawn Funeral Home in Branson.
Visitation will be from 5 p.m., Friday, until service time in Branson and from noon until 1 p.m., Saturday, in Nevada. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Cliff Wagner Scholarship Fund, and may be left a the Greenlawn Funeral Home, 708 State Highway 248, Branson, MO.
