Brian Howard Tillery
Brian Howard Tillery, 22, died Sunday, Feb. 8, 2004, as a result of an automobile accident. He was born July 19, 1981, in Nevada, Mo., the son of Howard and Brenda (Wilson) Tillery. He was a 1999 graduate of Rich Hill High School and attended Missouri Taxidermy Institute in the fall of 2002. He received his taxidermy license after completion of the classes and started his taxidermy business with the 2002 deer season. He worked for Daniel Brooks Painting in 2003. On June 7, 2003, he was united in marriage to Whitney Whitten in Hume, Mo.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Kenneth Wilson. He is survived by his wife, Whitney Tillery; his parents, Howard and Brenda Tillery, Rich Hill, Mo.; sister, Jenny Dade, Schell City, Mo.; paternal grandparents, Burl and Betty Tillery, Rich Hill, Mo.; and maternal grandmother, Pearl Wilson, Butler, Mo. He is also survived by his in-laws, aunts and uncles, a niece, and many cousins.
Services will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 11, at 2 p.m., at Sheldon-Booth Funeral Home, with Brother Glen Edmondson officiating. Ron Dunlap will be the organist and will perform special selections. Casketbearers will be Brad Steuck, Craig Klinksick, Mike Phelps, Jason Casey, Waylon Tillery and Jay Rogers. Honorary casketbearers will be Daniel Brooks, Matt Tillery, Tyler Wilson, Seth Wilson, Willie Tillery and Zac Morse. Interment will be in Green Lawn Cemetery, Rich Hill, Mo. Arrangements by Sheldon-Booth Funeral Home.
