Martha Bledsoe, assistant librarian, helps local children celebrate the 100th birthday of Theodore Geisel, better known as Dr. Seuss, with a selection from his children's books, during preschool story time at the Nevada Public Library Wednesday morning. Bledsoe donned a red and white striped hat in honor of one of Dr. Seuss's most famous creations, "The Cat in the Hat," and a stuffed Thing One -- or is it Thing Two -- and a stuffed version of The Cat himself, helped Bledsoe tell the tale.
