Minnie Bell (Hawk) Propek
Minnie Bell (Hawk) Propek, 91, died March 21, 2004, at Nevada Regional Medical Center. She was born Jan. 9, 1913, in Wheeler County, Texas, the daughter of Ulysses Simpson and Minnie Youngblood Hawk. She married Joseph Albert Propeck on Dec. 18, 1940, in Nevada, Mo.
Minnie spent all of her life on a farm. She was a 4-H leader for many years.
She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Wayne, Thomas and Robert Hawk; and one infant sister. Minnie is survived by her husband; two daughters, Carolyn King, Rich Hill, Mo., and Margaret Lawrence, Kansas City, Kan.; three grandsons; one granddaughter; two step-granddaughters; seven great-grandchildren; two step-great-grandchildren; and one niece and nephew.
Services were held on Thursday, March 25, at 11 a.m., at the Green Lawn Cemetery with Pastor Dan Muzzy officiating. Casketbearers were Tim King, Bob King, Anthony King, Jim Wilson, Cody King and Jered King. Interment was in Green Lawn Cemetery, Rich Hill, Mo. Arrangements by Heuser Funeral Home, Rich Hill, Mo.
