Robert Wayne Parker

Robert Wayne Parker, 76, Hume, Mo., died Friday, April 9, 2004, at the Nevada Regional Medical Center, Nevada, Mo., following an illness of several months. He was born Dec. 27, 1927, in Rolla, Mo., to Joel Forest Parker and Mary Opal Randael Parker. He was married Oct. 27, 1990, in Independence, Mo., to Lena May Slater who survives of the home.

Mr. Parker served in the U.S. Air Force and worked for many years fro the Libby's Corporation. He lived for the last 13 years in the Hume area.

In addition to his wife Lena, survivors include two stepchildren; seven step-grandchildren; three step-great-grandchildren; and one brother, Richard Parker, Alamo, Texas.

Graveside services will be 2 p.m., Tuesday, April 13, at East Liberty Cemetery, Stotesbury, Mo., with John Nichols officiating.
