Virginia "Jean" McKeithan

Virginia "Jean" McKeithan, 82, Overland Park, Kan., died Thursday, May 27, 2004, at Overland Park Regional Medical Center following an illness of a few weeks. She was born June 12, 1921, in Kansas City, Kan., to Gus Hillix and Hildred Harriett Allingham Hillix. She married Bruce H. McKeithan on, Jan. 11, 1969, in Arlington, Va.

Jean was the loving wife and mother of Bruce McKeithan and Pat Tally. She has resided happily the last four years at Ashford Place Assisted Living in Overland Park. Her husband Bruce continues to live at Tuileries Condominiums in Overland Park.

Jean is also survived by her son-in-law, Lawrence Tally, Nevada; one grandson, Brian Tally, Lamar; four great-grandchildren, Brett, Ashley, Chloe, and Austin Tally; plus a host of friends.

Funeral services will, be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, June 1, at Ferry Funeral Home, Nevada, with the Rev. Hubert Fox officiating. Interment will follow in Milo Cemetery. Friends may call now and until the hour of service and the family receives friends Tuesday, June 1, from 1-2 p.m. prior to the funeral service.

Memorials may be given in her memory to the American Diabetes Association or the American Heart Association in care of Ferry Funeral Home, Nevada.
