Zella Renee Maynard
Zella Renee Maynard, 34, died on July 30, 2004, at her home in rural Sheldon. She was born on April 14,1970, in Carthage, to Charles W. Maynard and Joyce A. Meister Maynard.
She attended El Dorado Springs schools, Denver Metropolitan College in Denver, Colo., for two years and was currently enrolled at Southwest Missouri State University where she was pursuing a career in speech pathology. She was formerly employed by Heartland Hospital in Nevada. She had lived in Joplin for several years before returning to her home in Sheldon. She was a member of the Sulphur Springs Baptist Church and the Sheldon Order of Eastern Star.
Survivors include her parents Charles and Joyce Maynard of Sheldon; a sister, Jennie Tilton of Fort Worth, Texas; a half sister, Cindy Graham, of Esparto, Calif.; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 2, at the Olive Branch Cemetery, Milo, with the Rev. Bill Clevenger officiating. Friends may call from now until the hour of service and the family will receive friends from 5-6 p.m. on Sunday at Ferry Funeral Home, Nevada.
