City welcomes new city clerk

Mayor Tim Moore and the Nevada City Council announced the appointment of Julie Stumpff as city clerk for the city of Nevada, in a press release this morning. A welcome reception will be held on Sept. 7, at 6 p.m. in the lobby of the Public Safety Building, 120 S. Ash, before the regular session city council meeting. The public may stop by and meet Stumpff.

She fills a position open since former City Clerk Robin Fisher resigned in April.
