Shirley Dawn Robbins

Shirley Dawn Robbins, 68, of Rich Hill, died Jan. 14, 2005. She was born Dec. 17, 1936, in Vernon County, the daughter of Otto and Leota Barker. She married Roy Alvin Robbins on Oct. 22, 1956, in Butler.

She was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Stephanie Dawn Robbins; her parents; three sisters, Norma Lea Yaw, Olive Lavon Ross and Frances Dee Finley. She is survived by her husband Roy, of the home; two daughters Cheryl West, Butler, and Sharon Black, Rich Hill; one son, Darryl Robbins, Rich Hill; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Services were held Monday, Jan. 17, at 1 p.m., at Heuser Funeral Home in Rich Hill, with Bill Perkey officiating. Musical selections were "Go Rest High Upon that Mountain" and "Dear Grandma." Pallbearers were Boone Ross, Randy Ross, Kenny Robbins, Travis Robbins, Chuck Humble and Kenny Kassner. Honorary pallbearers were Buck Morrison and Chris Finley. Interment was in Greenlawn Cemetery in Rich Hill. Arrangements were by Heuser Funeral Home.
