Missing one of their top scorers, the Bronaugh Wildcats (7-4) lost to Galena Monday in the first round of the Liberal tournament.
Alex Gordon did not play with a hurt ankle, and the Wildcats struggled offensively, falling 50-32.
Tyler Judd scored 23 points in the loss as the Wildcats were unable to find any help offensively for the guard.
The Wildcats also lost Saturday in the third-place game at the Golden City Tournament against Dadeville.
Dadeville came away with a 56-43 win in that game, during which Gordon's injury occurred.
Judd again shouldered much of the scoring burden in this game, scoring 21 in the loss.
Bronaugh plays again Wednesday in the consolation bracket at Liberal when they face the hosts.
