Claude E. Workman

Claude E. Workman, 77, Nevada, died Monday, April 4, 2005, at his home in Nevada. He was born Nov. 21, 1927, in Germantown, Ky., to Wilbur Homer Workman and Ada Chloe Orme Workman. He married Violet Mary Rhamy on June 4, 1970, in Nevada. She preceded him in death on Dec. 12, 1997.

He was a faithful member of the Heritage Baptist Church in Nevada. He retired from Norman Sheet Metal in Nevada after 14 years.

Survivors include one sister, Leola Slagle, Port Charlotte, Fla.; numerous nieces and nephews; and several cousins. In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by one brother, Guy C. Workman.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., on Thursday, April 7, at Ferry Funeral Home., Nevada, with the Rev. Paul Mooney officiating. Interment will follow in Newton Burial Park, Nevada. Friends may call from Wednesday afternoon until the hour of service at the funeral home.
