James Leslie Merideth

James Leslie Merideth, 91, formerly of Yucaipa, Calif., died Thursday, April 14, 2005, at Moore-Few Care Center, Nevada. He was born Nov. 13, 1913, in Columbia, Mo., the son of Eugene and Willy Mae (Baumgartner) Merideth.

He is survived by his wife, Florence Shiley-Merideth, Nevada; one daughter, Leslie Carroll (Merideth) Bartlett, rural Vernon County; brothers, Charles and George, of Columbia, Mo., and Joe B., Billy M., and Jack Merideth of southern California; and sister, Maxine (Johnson) in Columbia, Mo.

Interment will be at Desert Lawn Cemetery, Calmessa, Calif. Local arrangements are by Ferry Funeral Home, Nevada.
