Nevada residents were shocked Thursday morning to learn that E.E. Miller, an old and well-known resident of this city, and prominent in railroad work and the activities of the Spanish War veterans, had committed suicide by shooting himself in the right temple with a No. 410 gun.

The body was discovered at 5 o'clock Wednesday afternoon in the pavilion on the island at Radio Springs Park by Professor Drybread and a group of school children from Rich Hill, who drove to Nevada to picnic at the lake.
