Horse back in the limelight
In the Vernon County-Nevada Centennial Year, the horse has definitely come back into his own in these parts. On weekends. most of the emergency cases at Nevada Hospital are the result of automobile accidents; but this weekend things were a bit different.
George Ebbs, Nevada abstracter, was admitted to the hospital Sunday morning for treatment of injuries to his head and shoulders after falling from a horse-drawn buggy. He was dismissed after treatment.
Donald E. Marshall, 25, El Dorado Springs, was admitted to the hospital yesterday for treatment of a fractured arm suffered in a fall from a horse he was riding. Marshall was kept in the hospital for further treatment of the damaged arm.
