Wolmarans dies in Wednesday crash

A Schell City resident was killed Wednesday night in a one-vehicle crash in Northeast Vernon County. According to a report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Andries Wolmarans, 23, the accident occurred at about 9 p.m.. on State Route M, two miles North of Schell City when the 1996 Jeep Wolmarans was driving ran off the road and overturned, ejecting the driver. Womarans was pronounced dead at the scene by Vernon County Coroner David Ferry.
