Men's senior golf begins

The Men's Senior Golf League opened play April 11, on a warm and windy morning,

Seventeen players teed off and enjoyed the match.

There were five members of the A Flight showing up, while 12 players in B Flight participated.

Among the members of the B Flight were two new members.

The league determines the flights based on each player's handicap. A handicap of 17 or lower puts the golfer in the A Flight.

The lowest score with handicap April 11, was 35, with the highest a 41.

All area senior men (over 50 years of age) are invited to join the league. For information on joining, call (417) 448-2750, or just go to Frank E. Peters Municipal Golf Course.
