Messina -- Readinger

Emily Lucia Messina and David Wayne Readinger will marry in an outdoor ceremony on Nov. 11, 2006, in Baton Rouge, La.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Greg and Cathy Messina, Greenwell Springs, La., and the late Mary Burkett Messina. She is the granddaughter of Lucille Burkett, Greenwell Springs, La., and the late Julius H. Burkett Sr., Nick Messina, Baton Rouge, La., and the late Frances Messina, Ed and Mary Ann Zamadics, Lafayette, La. She is a 1998 graduate of Central High in Baton Rouge, La., and a 2003 graduate of Louisiana State University.

The future bridegroom is the son of Loren and Julie Readinger, Fort Scott. He is the grandson of Darrell and Rosalee Rager, Fort Scott, Delbert and Eva Readinger, Nevada, Mo., and Jim and Leota McClendon, Liberal, Mo. He is a 1999 graduate of Fort Scott High School and a 2001 graduate of Hutchison Community College.
